I will dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
